My favorite little doggie

Odin really enjoys being a doggie. He does the typical dog stuff- barking, digging, drinking from a bowl, shaking with his paw- and occasionally does some butt sniffing. He also pretends to poop and pee in the garden, and although he does actually pee there sometimes, he's hasn't pooped there yet. I've been told by more seasoned moms that we should expect this development in the future.

Sometimes he requests that we enact more complex doggie scenarios. A few times he's asked us to pretend that we're a band playing too loudly and he barks at us. Another example is when he pretends to dig in 'your garden' and insists that we scold him for this behavior. I wonder what it is about being a doggie that he finds so appealing?

What a good lookin boy you have Eric and Emily. It's great to know about your blog. I will bookmark it so I can read about the comings and goings of the Adam's Family. Hopefully Pugsley (I mean Odin) won't get into too much trouble there in the backyard. Take care of Uncle Fester.

That is too funny that he drinks out of bowls. Though may I suggest that you don't post any pictures of him when he starts pooping in the yard.

Hope you are enjoying your new music!

Although I can never get my first dog Scout to do it, my other dog Mazie used to just love playing hide and seek indoors. I'd hide behind the bed or a door and call her name. She'd do run into the room over and over and was delighted anew each time she found me. ... I am trying to think of some positive dog activities Odin might have fun playing. Leisa
