Cricket is serious business in Bangladesh. My office has a yearly cricket tournament where each division fields a team to play for first prize. Women usually do not play on these teams, but this year a women's team was formed. Next year they might even let us play a match against one of the other teams. Baby steps.
Here are a couple of shots from our first practice on an actual cricket pitch. This is my first time playing cricket! I like it. I might be better at it if I knew the rules, but since we're not actually playing a game, I won't worry about it too much.
